When Lubricants Fail to Flow - The Gelation Phenomenon

Ted Selby

Ted Selby

The teleseminar with Ted Selby focuses on his experiences with the phenomenon of gelation or semi-solidification of lubricants and fuels at lower temperatures. Depending on the formulation of lubricants or the hydrocarbon composition of jet fuels, such lubricants and fuels can form a gelated mass that cause them to resist pumping thus leading to engine damage or other obvious problems. Ted's studies and background have helped him and his associates to understand and resolve such lubricant and fuel-related problems.
